King Of The Mountains
The King of the Mountains (KoM) is an award given to the best climbing specialist in a men's cycling road race; in women's cycle racing, Queen of the Mountains (QoM) is used. While the title may be given to the rider who achieves the highest position over several designated climbs in a single-day road race, it is more usually applied to stage races (for example, the Grand Tours, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, and smaller races like the Tour of California) where points are accumulated over the duration of the whole race. In the Tour de France, where it is officially known as the Mountains classification, at the top of each significant climb, points are awarded to the riders who are first over the top. The climbs are categorised from 1 (most difficult) to 4 (least difficult) based on their steepness and length. Michael J. Storer (born 28 February 1997) is an Australian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In August 2018, he was named in the startlist for the Vuelta a España. He also competed in the 2019 Vuelta a España, and the 2020 Vuelta a España. He rode the Giro for the first time in his career in 2021. He finished 31st while riding in support of Romain Bardet, who finished in 7th overall. 2021 Giro D'Italia
The 2021 Giro d'Italia was the 104th edition of the Giro, a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race. It started on 8 May and finished on 30 May. On 26 May 2019, the race organisers RCS Sport originally announced that the start of the 2021 Giro (known as the ''Grande Partenza'') would be in Sicily, Italy. However, on 4 February 2021, RCS Sport announced that the race would instead start in Turin, with the rest of the race route being announced on 24 February 2021. Geoffrey Bouchard (born 1 April 1992) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . In August 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Vuelta a España. The 2021 Tour de France was the 108th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's three grand tours. Richard Antonio Carapaz Montenegro (born 29 May 1993) is an Ecuadorian professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Carapaz won the 2019 Giro d'Italia, becoming the first Ecuadorian rider to win the race. Koen Bouwman (born 2 December 1993 in Ulft) is a Dutch cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Bouwman joined in 2016 after riding for the team as a stagiaire the previous season. 2022 Tour De France
The 2022 Tour de France was the 109th edition of the Tour de France. It started in Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 July 2022 and ended with the final stage on the Champs-Élysées, Paris on 24 July 2022. Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard () won the general classification for the first time.
