The King's College London Rugby Football Club (also referred to as KCLRFC and King's Rugby) represents King's College London in rugby union competitions, notably BUCS and the University of London Union's Gutteridge Cup. King's Rugby Football Club is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world and traditionally one of the leading London University rugby clubs. King's College rugby team was part of the King's College Hospital rugby team that was a founding member of the Rugby Football Union, RFU. Esher Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union club based in Surrey, England. Esher currently play in the third division of the English league system; National League 1, following the club's promotion from National League 2 South at the end of the 2021–22 season. History The club was formed in 1923 when four rugby enthusiasts agreed to start a club. When the league system was introduced in 1987 Esher were placed in London 1, but were relegated in the first season and did not win promotion back to that league until 1993. Esher were first promoted to the national leagues system for the 1997–98 season, finishing fourth in National League 2 South. King's College London Students' Union (KCLSU) is an independent charitable organisation that's works to further the interests of its members (approximately 36,000 students at King's College London). It governs the 300 student societies and activity groups at King's. KCLSU claims to be the oldest students' union in England. The strategic plan that defines the mission of KCLSU is to create "a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive". History KCLSU took over from what was then the Union Society of King's College. Henley Hawks is a rugby union club based in Henley-on-Thames and is one of the leading rugby clubs in the Thames Valley. The first team play in the fourth tier of the English league system; National League 2 East. History Henley RFC was founded in August 1930 as Old Henleiensians (old boys of Henley Grammar School). Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Ayoola Erinle (born 20 February 1980 in Lagos, Nigeria) is known for being an England international rugby union player. He was educated at The Oratory School and at King's College London, representing both his school's 1st XV and the King's College Rugby Club's 1st XV.
