Kimmo Kapanen
Kimmo Kapanen (born September 12, 1974) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender. Kapanen played for several Finnish teams during his career including Ässät, HPK and KalPa. Kapanen also played in Sweden for Timrå IK and in Germany for Iserlohn Roosters. Playing career Kapanen started his career in 1992 playing for KalPa in SM-liiga. He played in Finland until 2001 when he moved to Timrå IK in the Swedish elite league Elitserien. He stayed with Timrå for three seasons and had his best season in 2003-04 when he was recorded for eight shutouts and 2.21 GAA. From 2005 he returned to KalPa and played with them for two seasons. Kimmo Kiljunen (born 13 June 1951) is a Finnish author and politician of the Social Democratic Party. He served in the Finnish parliament from 1995 to 2011. He was a member of the Parliament's Grand Committee and the Committee for Foreign Affairs. He also served as the chairman of the Vantaa city council. Education and early career Kiljunen was born in Ruokolahti. He obtained a PhD from the University of Sussex. Early in his career, Kiljunen published books on Finnish politics, international relations and development. Kimmo Matti Koskenniemi (born 7 September 1945) is the inventor of finite-state two-level models for computational phonology and morphology. He was a professor of Computational Linguistics at the University of Helsinki, Finland. In the early 1980s Koskenniemi's work became accessible by early adopters such as Lauri Karttunen, Ronald M. Kimmo Kuhta
Kimmo Kuhta (born June 19, 1975) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey forward. Apart from spending the 2005–06 season in the Swiss league, Kuhta represented HIFK in the SM-liiga from 1998 to the end of his career in 2013. He played a total of 728 games in HIFK, second only to Pertti Lehtonen with 851 on the team, and also holds the record for most goals in HIFK with 248 in total. Kimmo Pohjonen (born August 16, 1964) is a Finnish accordionist who is known for his avant-garde and experimental work with his custom-made electrified and modified instrument. He has released nine albums of his work and has toured Europe extensively, as well as performances in Japan and some in North America. He records and performs both solo and in collaboration with musicians and other artists, including the Kronos Quartet, and percussionist Pat Mastelotto and guitarist Trey Gunn of King Crimson. Kimmo Tauriainen (born 16 March 1972) is a Finnish former footballer. Career He has played for RoPS, KePS, Kontu, FC Jokerit, MyPa and Atlantis FC. He also played one season in Norwegian IK Start. Kimmo Samuel Timonen (born 18 March 1975) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenseman who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Chicago Blackhawks. Kimmo Wilska (born 5 August 1956 in Helsinki) is an English-speaking Finnish newscaster. He worked at YLE from 1985 until 2010 in YLE's morning broadcast, and read the English-language news on ''YLE News''. On 13 August 2010, Wilska was fired after pretending to be caught drinking beer on camera following an alcohol-related news story. The stunt was too much for YLE, and Wilska was immediately fired. Wilska is known to have previously finished the 2009 Christmas newscast wearing a Santa Claus hat.
