Kimi Katkar
Kimi Katkar is a former actress and model, who worked in Hindi films. She was active throughout the 1980s and the early 1990s, and starred in over 50 films, including ''Adventures of Tarzan'' (1985) and ''Hum'' (1991). Career Kimi Katkar made her acting debut in the 1985 film ''Patthar Dil'' as a supporting actress. Later that year, she starred in ''Adventures of Tarzan'', where she played the lead opposite Hemant Birje. After the film, she continued to work throughout the late 1980s, followed by notable films such as ''Mera Lahoo'' (1987), ''Dariya Dil'' (1988), ''Sone Pe Suhaaga'' (1988), ''Gair Kanooni'' (1989), ''Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharnii'' (1989) and '' Khoon Ka Karz'' (1991). Yash Chopra
Yash Raj Chopra (27 September 1932 21 October 2012) was an Indian people, Indian film director and film producer who worked in Bollywood, Hindi cinema. The founding chairman of the film production and distribution company Yash Raj Films, Chopra was the recipient of several awards, including 6 National Film Awards and 8 Filmfare Awards. He is considered among the best Indian filmmakers. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001, and the Padma Bhushan in 2005. ''Zalzala'' is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language action adventure film directed by Harish Shah. ''Mard Ki Zabaan '' is a 1987 Bollywood film starring Dharmendra, Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon and Kimi Katkar. The film was a remake of the Telugu film ''Yuga Purushudu''. Plot Ram Chauhan makes a living as a farmer and lives with his brother, Laxman. He falls in love with wealthy Laxmi Sahay, much to the chagrin of her father, Raghupati, who breaks off all relations with her. His anger does not subside even when Laxmi gives birth to a son, Vijay. Gregory David Roberts (born Gregory John Peter Smith; 1952) is an Australian author best known for his novel '' Shantaram''. He is a former heroin addict and convicted bank robber who escaped from Pentridge Prison in 1980 and fled to India, where he lived for ten years. Life Roberts reportedly became addicted to heroin after his marriage ended and he lost custody of his young daughter. ''Shantaram'' is a 2003 novel by Gregory David Roberts, in which a convicted Australian bank robber and heroin addict escapes from Pentridge Prison and flees to India. The novel is commended by many for its vivid portrayal of life in Bombay in the early to late 1980s. The novel is reportedly influenced by real events in the life of the author, though some claims made by Roberts are contested by others involved in the story. Plot summary In 1978, Roberts was sentenced to a 19-year imprisonment in Australia after being convicted of a series of armed robberies of building society branches, credit unions, and shops.
