Kim Min-jung (; born July 30, 1982) is a South Korean actress. Career Kim made her acting debut in 1988, at six years old, in the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, MBC Best Theater episode ''Widow''. She then starred in numerous Korean drama, television dramas as one of the most in-demand and praised child actor, child actresses of her generation. As she grew up, she would become one of a set of Korean child actors who successfully transitioned into adult roles. Kim's more notable TV series include ''Ireland (TV series), Ireland'', ''Fashion 70's'', ''New Heart'', ''Strike Love'', and ''The Thorn Birds (2011 TV series), The Thorn Birds''. She has also appeared in films such as ''Flying Boys'', ''Forbidden Quest'', and ''The Scam (film), The Scam''. ''Kid Cop'' () is a 1993 South Korean children's film directed by Lee Joon-ik, starring Kim Min-jung (actress), Kim Min-jung and Jung Tae-woo. ''Kid Cop'' is sometimes referred to as the "Korean ''Home Alone''" due to the bigger emphasis of children's roles in movies. Plot Junho plans to give a present to his favorite female friend, Eunsu. However, Junho's plan failed due to Hyungtae's advancement towards Eunsu. This has prompted Junho to go to a shopping mall, where Eunsu's favorite singer holds a fan meeting. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms.
