Kim Jin-pyo (politician)
Kim Jin-pyo (; born 4 May 1947) is a South Korean politician previously served as a government minister under two liberal Presidents Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun and currently representing Suwon at the National Assembly from 2004. He has dedicated his career in public service as a public servant for 30 years and then as government minister and a parliamentarian. He is considered as the more conservative wing of the centrist, liberal Democratic Party. Pre-Minister career After passing the state exam in 1974, he began his career as a public servant at one of regional offices of National Tax Service. Apart from working for Deputy Prime Minister Rha Woong-bae as his chief of staff for five months in 1996, he continued working on tax. Yeonbaek County
Yeonbaek County (''Yeonbaek-gun(延白郡)'') or Yonbaek County (''Yonbaek-gun'') was a county in Hwanghae Province, Korea. It was established in 1914 by uniting Yonan County and Paechon County. It was divided during the Division of Korea. The part of Yeonbaek county under South Korean authorities were administered under Gyeonggi Province. During the Korean War, North Korea took all of Yeonbaek County, and after briefly establishing the regions formerly under South Korean control as South Yeonbaek county(남연백군), North Korea disestablished Yeonbaek County and reestablished former Yonan County and Paechon County in 1952. Park Jie-won
Park Jie-won(; born 5 June 1942) is a South Korean politician who served as Director of the National Intelligence Service. He was the chief presidential secretary to President Kim Dae-jung, and served as the Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and coined the term "Esports" during his administration. On 9 April 2008, he was elected as a member of 18th National Assembly of South Korea for Mokpo as an independent. After being elected, he returned to the Democratic party. Kim Suk-soo (born November 20, 1932) is a South Korean politician and attorney-at-law. Kim graduated from Paichai High School in 1952 and Yonsei University in 1956 with a bachelor's degree in law. Kim Dae-jung
Kim Dae-jung (; ; 6 January 192418 August 2009), was a South Korea, South Korean politician and activist who served as the eighth president of South Korea from 1998 to 2003. He was a 2000 Nobel Peace Prize recipient for his work for democracy and human rights in South Korea and in East Asia in general, and for peace and reconciliation with North Korea and Japan. Office For Government Policy Coordination
The Office for Government Policy Coordination (), OPC in short, is a government agency of South Korea consisting Prime Minister's Office with Prime Minister's Secretariat (PMS). It is led by a ministerial-level Minister for Government Policy Coordination unlike Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister who leads PMS and serves at a vice-ministerial level. Lee Hun Jai (born April 17, 1944) is a South Korean politician who served as the acting Prime Minister of South Korea twice, from May 19, 2000, to May 22, 2000, and from July 25, 2004, to July 30, 2004. Both times others were nominated to officially take that position and were confirmed by Parliament, while Lee was meant only as a temporary placeholder. Lee does not belong to any political party. Goh Kun (Hangul: 고건, Hanja: 高建, born January 2, 1938) is a South Korean politician, the former Prime Minister of South Korea and former Acting President of South Korea. Career Goh was a Minister of Parliament during the 1980s, before being appointed the mayor of Seoul from 1988 to 1990. He was later elected mayor of Seoul from 1998 to 2002. Ministry Of Economy And Finance (South Korea)
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (abbreviated to MOEF) oversees the financial policies of the South Korean government. It publishes a monthly report on the national economy, known as the "Green Book." The current minister is Choo Kyung-ho. The headquarters is in the Sejong Government Complex in Sejong City. According to Chapter 3 Article 19 of the Government Organisation Act, the Minister of Economy and Finance also acts as the Deputy Prime Minister, together with the Minister for Education. Han Myeong-sook (born March 24, 1944; ko, 한명숙 ) was the Prime Minister of South Korea from April 2006 to March 2007. She is South Korea's first female prime minister (second female prime minister overall if the acting premiership of Chang Sang is included).
