Kim Hae-ran
Kim Hae-ran (Hangul: 김해란, Hanja: 金海蘭; born 16 March 1984) is a South Korean professional volleyball player. She was part of the team at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. She also competed at the 2006 World Championship and 2018 Nations League. Hae-ran played a key role in the team, as one of the best diggers, being the best libero in the 2019 FIVB World Cup with a 3.95 average per set. In 2020, at the end of the 2019−20 season, she announced her retirement from the courts. She wanted to give a chance to younger players, and also start a family. The women's tournament in volleyball at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was the 13th edition of the event in an Olympic Games, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB, in conjunction with the IOC. It was held at Earls Court Exhibition Centre from 28 July to 11 August 2012. Qualification Pools composition Teams were seeded following the Serpentine system according to their ranking as of 15 January 2012. Twelve qualified nations were drawn into two groups, each consisting of six teams. After a robin-round, the four highest-placed teams in each group advanced to a knock-out round to decide the medals. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup
The 2019 FIVB Women's World Cup was the 13th edition of the event, contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The tournament was held from 14 to 29 September 2019 in Japan. The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former World Grand Prix in the international calendar. The competition was held between May and July 2018, and the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China.
