Kim Astrup
Kim Astrup Sørensen (born 6 March 1992) is a Danish badminton player. As junior player, he won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles. He later won a gold in the mixed doubles and bronze medals in the boys' doubles and team events at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Astrup emerged victorious in the men's doubles at the 2018 European Championships. The 2018 European Badminton Championships were the 27th tournament of the European Badminton Championships. They were held in Huelva, Spain, from 24–29 April 2018. Tournament The 2018 European Badminton Championships is the 27th edition of the championships. This tournament was awarded to Carolina Marín's hometown Huelva following a decision adopted by the Executive Committee of Badminton Europe and made public at the General Assembly of the aforementioned organization that took place in Prague, Czech Republic. BWF World Junior Championships
The BWF World Junior Championships (also known as the World Junior Badminton Championships) is a tournament organized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) to crown the best junior badminton players (under-19) in the world.
