Kidon (film)
''Kidon'' ( he, כידון) is a 2013 French-Israeli spy action comedy film about the Israeli Mossad's attempts to find out who killed Hamas senior military commander Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh in 2010. In real life, Kidon is a secretive Mossad special operations killing unit. ''Kidon'' was written and directed by Emmanuel Naccache. The hotel scenes were filmed at a hotel in Eilat, Israel, standing in for the Dubai hotel where the actual killing took place. When the family of Al-Mabhouh learned that in one of the scenes his character drinks alcohol and submits to Israeli "temptress" Bar Refaeli, the family said it would sue to stop the film’s distribution arguing that it hurt the Hamas commander's reputation. Tomer Sisley (born Tomer Gazit; he, תומר סיסלי; born 14 August 1974) is an Israeli and French actor and comedian. Early and personal life Born in West Berlin, West Germany, to Israeli-born parents who had relocated for his father's job as a research scientist in dermatology. His mother is also a dermatologist. His parents met as schoolmates in Ramat Gan, Israel, and were childhood sweethearts. His father's family has roots in Lithuania and Belarus, while his mother is of Yemeni descent. His parents separated when he was five years old. At 9 years of age he left Berlin to live with his father in southern France, where his father was offered a position. He is fluent in German, Hebrew, French, and English. He attended an English-speaking school, and then attended the bi-lingual Centre international de Valbonne in Sophia Antipolis near Nice, France.
