Kidepo Airport
Kidepo Airport is an airfield in Northern Region, Uganda. The airport is at Lomej, approximately south of the headquarters of Kidepo Valley National Park, and northeast of Entebbe International Airport, the country's largest civilian and military airport. Kidepo Airport is one of twelve upcountry airports that are administered by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, and one of the five upcountry airports that are authorized to handle cross-border air traffic from member countries of the East African Community, in an effort to promote tourism in Eastern Africa. The other airports with similar authorization are Arua Airport, Gulu Airport, Kasese Airport, and Kisoro Airport. Kidepo Airport receives daily flights from Entebbe International Airport and Murchison Falls National Park, which are primarily used by tourists to visit Kidepo Valley National Park. Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP) is a national park in Uganda and managed by the Ugandan Wildlife Authority. It is in north-western Uganda, spreading inland from the shores of Lake Albert (Africa), Lake Albert, around the Victoria Nile, up to the Karuma Falls. Kisoro Airport
Kisoro Airport is an airport serving the town of Kisoro in Uganda and nearby Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. It is in extreme southwestern Uganda, north of the Rwanda border, and approximately by air southwest of Entebbe International Airport, the country's largest civilian and military airport. It is one of twelve upcountry airports administered by the Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda.
