''Khodahafez Rafigh'' ( en, Goodbye Friend; fa, خداحافظ رفیق, italic=yes) is a 1971 Iranian film. It was the debut feature by the Iranian director Amir Naderi, and starred Zakaria Hashemi, Jalal Pishvaian and Saeed Rad. Plot The plot follows three friends, Jalal, Naser and Khosrow, who organize the burglary of a jewelry shop. This is suppose to be Naser's last crime before he marries. Greed, betrayal and revenge quickly overcome their friendship. Amir Naderi ( fa, امیر نادری (), born 15 August 1946, in Abadan) is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, and photographer. He is best known for '' The Runner'' and ''Vegas: Based on a True Story''. Career Amir Naderi grew up in Abadan, a working-class port city in the south of Iran. He became interested in photography and cinema at an early age. As a filmmaker he was inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson's photography of urban experience and everyday life, as well as the aesthetics of Italian neorealist cinema, such as location shooting, the use of nonprofessional actors, looser narrative structures, and a focus on the plight of poor and working-class people. Naderi's early films explored similar themes and visual strategies, but they did so within the context of Iranian life and culture. Naderi made his directorial debut with ''Goodbye Friend'' in 1971. Zakaria Hashemi ( fa, زکریا هاشمی; born in 1936 in Rey, Tehran Province, Iran) is an Iranian actor and film director. Early life Hashemi spent his childhood in southern Tehran. Jalal Pishvaian (10 June 1930 – 11 December 2021) was an Iranian actor. He acted in over 80 films. Life and career Jalal Pishvaian was born on 10 June 1930 in Tehran, Iran. Prior to acting, he owned a gym and was involved in boxing and Judo. Pishvaian is associated with Iranian New Wave, Persian film, and popular film; he often played villainous characters.
