Khemara Keila FC ( km, ខេមរាកីឡា) was a Cambodian football club based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. History The club was established in 1997. The name is derived from ''Khemara'' a formal term for ''Khmer'', and ''keila'' meaning sports. The club won 2005 and 2006 the Metfone C-League, as well 2007 the Hun Sen Cup. Due to financial problems and the mass exodus of key players, the club withdraw from ''Hun Sen Cup 2011'' and later also from ''Metfone C-League 2011'' and was defunct 2011. Hun Sen Cup
The Hun Sen Cup ( km, ពានរង្វាន់សម្តេចហ៊ុន សែន) is a Cambodian knockout football cup competition held annually by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC). Thirty-five teams participate in the competition as of 2022 season, including all clubs from the Cambodian Premier League and some from the Cambodian League 2. The cup usually starts from February and ends in November, the winner qualifies for the Cambodian Super Cup. The AFC President's Cup was an annual international association football competition between domestic clubs sides run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held between 2005 and 2014. The competition targeted emerging football nations, and was set below the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup competitions. Competition format Between 8 and 12 teams participated in each edition of the competition. From 2005 to 2007, 8 clubs were placed into two groups of 4 teams. The 2006 AFC President's Cup was the second season of the AFC President's Cup, a competition for football clubs in countries categorized as "emerging nations" by the Asian Football Confederation. The eight teams that compete are split up into two groups and play each other team in their group once.
