Hun Sen Cup
The Hun Sen Cup ( km, ពានរង្វាន់សម្តេចហ៊ុន សែន) is a Cambodian knockout football cup competition held annually by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC). Thirty-five teams participate in the competition as of 2022 season, including all clubs from the Cambodian Premier League and some from the Cambodian League 2. The cup usually starts from February and ends in November, the winner qualifies for the Cambodian Super Cup. Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng are the most successful team in the tournament with four titles. The current holders are Visakha, having beaten Boeung Ket 4–3 in the 2022 final to win their third title. Format Besides youth tournaments of certain levels, Cambodian League and Samdech Hun Sen Cup are the highest soccer tournaments organized yearly by FFC. 2017 Hun Sen Cup
The Hun Sen Cup was the main football knockout tournament in Cambodia. The 2017 Hun Sen Cup was the 11th season of the Hun Sen Cup, the premier knockout tournament for association football clubs in Cambodia involving Cambodian League and provincial teams organized by the Football Federation of Cambodia. National Defense Ministry were the defending champions, having beaten Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng 6–5 on penalty shoot-out after 1-1 extra time in the previous season's final. Khemara Keila FC ( km, ខេមរាកីឡា) was a Cambodian football club based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. History The club was established in 1997. The name is derived from ''Khemara'' a formal term for ''Khmer'', and ''keila'' meaning sports. The club won 2005 and 2006 the Metfone C-League, as well 2007 the Hun Sen Cup. Hun Sen
Hun Sen (; km, ហ៊ុន សែន, ; born 5 August 1952) is a Cambodian politician and former military commander who has served as the prime minister of Cambodia since 1985. He is the longest-serving head of government of Cambodia, and one of the longest-serving leaders in the world. He is also the president of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and a member of the National Assembly for Kandal. 2021 Hun Sen Cup
The 2021 Hun Sen Cup is the 15th season of the Hun Sen Cup, the premier football knockout tournament in Cambodia, for association football clubs in Cambodia involving Cambodian League and provincial teams organized by the Football Federation of Cambodia. Visakha won the cup after beating Nagaworld 2-0 in the 2020 final. It was Visakha's first time winning the cup. The competition is split into 2 stages, provincial stage and national stage.
