Khairulhin Khalid
Muhammad Khairulhin bin Mohd Khalid (born 18 July 1991) is a Singaporean footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Hougang United in the S.League. Youth career Khairulhin was part of the National Youth Academy age group set ups until he was 18. Club career LionsXII In December 2011, the Football Association of Singapore announced that Khairulhin will join the newly formed LionsXII in the 2012 Malaysia Super League. The news was a shocking one as Khairulhin had been out of footballing circles for the past 3 years. He, however, failed to make a single appearance with first-choice Izwan Mahbud and back-up goalkeeper Hyrulnizam Juma'at ahead of him. With the departure of Hyrulnizam to Warriors, Khairulhin assumed the role of second-choice custodian behind Izwan. He made his debut as a substitute against T-Team on 11 May 2013. 2012 LionsXII Season
The 2012 season was LionsXII's debut season in the Malaysia Super League. LionsXII returned to Malaysia competitions 18 years after their predecessor withdrew from the competitions. The Lions finished MSL runners-up at the end of the season. Malaysia Super League LionsXII debuted in the 2012 Malaysia Super League on 10 January 2012 with a 1–2 home defeat to defending champions Kelantan FA. The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. Young Lions Football Club, commonly known as Young Lions, is a Singaporean developmental football club that competes in the Singapore Premier League. The team is under the direct control of the Football Association of Singapore. Singapore League Cup
The Singapore League Cup was an annual soccer competition in Singapore. It was launched in 2007, and was open to teams who play in the S.League. The 2007 competition was sponsored by SingTel, and officially titled the SingTel League Cup. Eight of the twelve S.League teams took part in the 2007 tournament, which was held before the start of the S.League season proper. In 2008, the competition's official sponsored name was the Avaya-J&J League Cup (with sponsorship coming from Avaya and Jebsen & Jessen Communications). Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Chonburi Province FC from Thailand was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup.
