Khair
Khair is a town and a municipal board in Aligarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Khair is the biggest town of Aligarh district. It is situated around 27 km from Aligarh, 114 km from Delhi and 60 km from Mathura. History It was held by Amar Singh Jat during the 17th century. Amar Singh revolted against the Mughal Empire and declared his independent. He also built the fortress of Rait and became the leaders of all the rebels of Tappal, Khurja, Koel, Chandausi and Atrauli parganas. Demographics As of 2011 Indian Census, Khair had a total population of 35,751, of which 19,019 were males and 16,732 were females. Population within the age group of 0 to 6 years was 5,322. The total number of literates in Khair was 20,334, which constituted 56.9% of the population with male literacy of 63.4% and female literacy of 49.4%. The Farah Garad or the Garad Farah ( so, Faarax Garaad, ar, محمد جراد, Full Name:'' ’Farah Shirshore Habarwa Abdullah Muse Said Saleh Abdi Mohamed Abdirahman bin Isma'il al-Jabarti'' ) is a Somali clan which is part of the Dhulbahante clan-family, a sub-division of the larger Harti/Darod clan. Abul Khair Group () is a Bangladeshi diversified conglomerate based in Dhaka. Abul Kashem is the chairperson and Abul Hashem is the managing director of Abul Khair Group. Abu Syed Chowdhury is the deputy managing director and Shah Shafiqul Islam is the group director. All four are sons of Abul Khair. History Abul Khair Group was founded in 1953 as a maker of Beedi, hand rolled cigarettes. Abul Khair Tobacco Company Limited offered free gifts with their cigarettes in 2009. Khair Khaneh
Khair Khaneh is an archaeological site located near Kabul, Afghanistan. A Brahmanical Temple was excavated there in the 1930s by Joseph Hackin. The construction of the Khair Khaneh temple itself is dated to 608-630 CE, at the beginning of the Turk Shahis period. Most of the remains, including marble statuettes, date to the 7th–8th century, during the time of the Turk Shahi.
