Kevin Wölbert
Kevin Wölbert (born 14 June 1989) is a German speedway rider who has won Individual German Champion title in 2008. Career history When Max Dilger was injured, Wölbert was nominated as second track reserve at the 2008 German Grand Prix. But, after re-staged this event in Bydgoszcz, Poland (as the Final Grand Prix), Wölbert was replaced by Pole Grzegorz Zengota. Due to having Polish roots through his grandmother, Wölbert has been interest of Polish citizenship. He applied for citizenship in November 2009 in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Office in Bydgoszcz. His application was support by President of Grudziądz Robert Malinowski and a GTŻ Grudziądz, his Polish team. His application will be consider by the President of the Republic of Poland. As a Pole, he will be apply for a Polish speedway licence (''Licencja "Ż"'') and starting in Polish league as a domestic rider. Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship is a speedway competition to determine the World Championship for national Under-21 teams. The sport's equivalent of the Under-21 World Cup in football, as of 2022 the title is awarded to the winners of SON2, the Under-21 division of the Speedway of Nations. The first edition of the competition was in 2005 prior to its incorporation with the Speedway of Nations. Poland has dominated the competition winning the title record 15 times. Previous winners Classification Rules Eligibility The minimum age limit (16 years) starts on the date of the rider's birthday and the maximum age limit (21 years) finishes at the end of the year in which they reach 21 years old. 2009 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2009 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship was the 33rd edition of the FIM World motorcycle speedway Under-21 Championships. The final took place on 4 October, 2009, in Goričan, Croatia. It was first final to be held in the Balkans and the Championship was won by Australian rider Darcy Ward. Calendar Domestic Qualifications Deutscher Motor Sport Bund nominated eight riders and two track reserve in February 2009. Czech Republic Autoklub of the Czech Republic nominated five riders in October 2008: Filip Šitera, Matěj Kůs, Martin Gavenda, Michael Hádek and Jan Holub III. A sixth rider will be nominated in 2009.
