Kevin Rose (Australian Rules Footballer)
Kevin Thomas Rose (born 4 June 1939) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood in the VFL. He was one of four brothers who played for Collingwood with the most famous being his older brother Bob Rose. Rose started his career as a half back flanker before becoming a ruck-rover. He was a Collingwood premiership player in 1958 and played in three losing grand final teams. He subsequently played for six years with Prahran on the Victorian Football Association. In 2003 he was selected in Prahran's Team of the Century. After retiring as a player he took up coaching and was appointed senior coach of Fitzroy in 1975. Nyah West
Nyah West is a town in Victoria (Australia) near the Murray River, the border with New South Wales. It is near the Murray Valley Highway (Nyah West is on the railway line, Nyah is on the highway), north-west of Melbourne and north-west of Swan Hill. The town was established when the railway line was extended from Swan Hill to Piangil in 1915 passing some distance to the west of the established township of Nyah. A full Post Office opened here on 1 December 1917. Nyah West Magistrates' Court was formally closed on 1 September 1982, having used a local hall rather than its own courthouse and not having sat for many years. Fitzroy Football Club Coaches
This is a list of people who coached the Fitzroy Football Club in a senior Australian Football League (AFL) game. Playing the sport of Australian rules football, the Fitzroy Football Club was formed in September 1883, and began playing in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) the following season. Originally based at the Brunswick Street Oval, the club won its first VFA premiership in 1895, but quit the league two years later to join the newly formed Victorian Football League (VFL). Fitzroy won consecutive VFL premierships between 1898 and 1899 and between 1904 and 1905. Prior to the 1911 season, there was no official position of coach.
