Kevin Chapman (baseball)
Kevin Allen Chapman (born February 19, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros from 2013 to 2016. Career Chapman was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 42nd round of the 2006 MLB draft out of Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but did not sign and attended the University of Florida. He was then drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 50th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft, but again chose not to sign and returned to Florida. The Kansas City Royals drafted him in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB draft and he signed. Chapman was traded to the Houston Astros in 2012. Houston Astros
The Houston Astros are an American professional baseball team based in Houston, Texas. The Astros compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) West division, having moved to the division in 2013 after spending their first 51 seasons in the National League (NL). Matthew Gerrit den Dekker (born August 10, 1987) is an American baseball coach and former outfielder, who is the minor league baserunning and outfielding coach for the New York Mets. He played college baseball at Florida for coach Kevin O'Sullivan from 2007 to 2010 and played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 6 seasons from 2013 to 2018 for the Washington Nationals, Detroit Tigers and New York Mets. den Dekker was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The New Britain Bees are an American collegiate summer baseball team based in New Britain, Connecticut. They are a member of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL), a wood-bat league with teams in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont. The Gwinnett Stripers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
