Danny Santana
Daniel Ernesto Santana (born November 7, 1990) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder and outfielder who is currently a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, and Boston Red Sox. Career Minnesota Twins The Minnesota Twins signed Santana as an undrafted free agent in December 2007. In November 2012, the Twins added him to the 40-man roster in order to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. Santana was called up to the major leagues for the first time on May 2, 2014. After a solid start to his career, Santana was placed on the 15-day disabled list on June 27. He spent the season splitting time between center field and shortstop, and he accumulated a .319 batting average, 7 home runs, 20 stolen bases in 101 games, leading all rookies. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. Gwinnett Stripers
The Gwinnett Stripers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They play their home games at Coolray Field in unincorporated Gwinnett County, Georgia (with a Lawrenceville address) in suburban Atlanta, Georgia. They are named for striped bass in reference to the popularity of fishing in the region. The team was established in 2009 after the International League's Richmond Braves relocated from Richmond, Virginia. Named the Gwinnett Braves after their major league affiliate, they adopted their current moniker in 2018. Kevin Chapman (baseball)
Kevin Allen Chapman (born February 19, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros from 2013 to 2016. Career Chapman was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 42nd round of the 2006 MLB draft out of Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but did not sign and attended the University of Florida. He was then drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 50th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft, but again chose not to sign and returned to Florida. The Kansas City Royals drafted him in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB draft and he signed. Chapman was traded to the Houston Astros in 2012. Triple-A (officially Class AAA) has been the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946. Currently, two sports league, leagues operate at the Triple-A level, the International League (IL) and the Pacific Coast League (PCL). There are 30 teams, one per each Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise, with 20 in the IL and 10 in the PCL. Triple-A teams are generally located in smaller cities as well as larger metropolitan areas without MLB teams, such as Austin, Texas, Austin, Jacksonville, Florida, Jacksonville, Columbus, Ohio, Columbus, and Indianapolis. In baseball, an at bat (AB) or time at bat is a batter's turn batting against a pitcher. An at bat is different from a plate appearance. A batter is credited with a plate appearance regardless of what happens during their turn at bat, but a batter is credited with an at bat only if that plate appearance does not have one of the results enumerated below.
