Kerry Szeps Wood (born April 13, 1978) is an American politician who serves in the Connecticut House of Representatives representing the 29th district in Hartford County. She has held the position since 2018. Personal life Career Wood currently works at New England Retail Properties in Wethersfield, CT as a commercial real estate agent. Political career Wood is a current member of the Rocky Hill Democratic Town Committee and served as president of the CT Young Democrats. The twenty-ninth Connecticut House of Representatives district elects one member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. Its current representative is Kerry Szeps-Wood. The district consists of the town of Rocky Hill, the historical base of the district in which all representatives since 1975 have lived, and parts of the towns of Newington, which is split between the 24th, 27th and 29th districts, and Wethersfield, which is split between the 28th 28 (twenty-eight) is the natural number following 27 and preceding 29. The Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It is a bicameral body composed of the 151-member House of Representatives and the 36-member Senate. It meets in the state capital, Hartford. There are no term limits for either chamber. During even-numbered years, the General Assembly is in session from February to May.
