Kerry F.C. (Wales)
Kerry Football Club is a Welsh football team based in the village of Kerry, Powys, Wales. They play in the Ardal NE, which is in the third tier of the Welsh football league system. History Football was first played in the village in 1876, with newspaper reports mentioning a match between Kerry FC and Newtown. The club then played in the Montgomeryshire League for the first time in 1936–37, finishing as runners-up. After the Second World War, the club rejoined the league, playing until 1951 when the club folded. The club was reformed in 1959 and finished as league runners-up in the mid-1960s on two occasions. At the beginning of the 1970s the club was relegated to the league's second division before again folding in 1972. Another reformation of the club took place in 1979, with them rejoining the league in the second division, where they remained until 1995–96 when were league champions and they were promoted to the Mid Wales Football League. Kerry, Powys
Kerry ( cy, Ceri) is a village and geographically large community in Montgomeryshire, Powys, Wales. The village lies on the A489 road southeast of Newtown and possesses two pubs — the Herbert Arms and the Kerry Lamb — a village hall, a bowling green, a post office, a primary school and a hairdresser. Kerry also has a parish church of Norman origins dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels, as well as a baptist church. It gives its name to the Kerry Hill breed of sheep. Ardal Leagues
The Ardal Leagues are a football league in Wales. The word "ardal" translates as "district" in English, with Wales split into four regions at this level. They have clubs with amateur/semi-professional status and sit at the third level of the Welsh football league system. The first year of their operation would have been 2020–21 but the 2020–21 Ardal North East season, 2020–21 Ardal North West season, 2020–21 Ardal South East season and 2020–21 Ardal South West season were all cancelled. The inaugural season was moved to 2021–22. The creation of the leagues mark the first time the Football Association of Wales owns and is administering tier 3 of the Welsh league system. The Welsh football league system (or pyramid) is a series of football leagues with regular promotion and relegation between them. While most Welsh clubs play in the Welsh pyramid and most clubs in that pyramid are Welsh, five Welsh clubs play in England, and four English clubs play in Wales. The Montgomeryshire Football League (currently the ''JT Hughes Football League'') is a football league in Mid Wales, sitting at the fifth level of the Welsh football league system.
