Kerri Hartland
Kerri Gaye Hartland is the Director-General-designate of the Australian Secret Intelligence Service. She was formerly an Australian public servant for 30 years, before joining the private sector. She was the first female Deputy Director General of ASIO and took up the position of Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business in January 2017. Personal life and education Born in Oakey, Queensland in 1965, Hartland grew up with her parents Valerie and Neville Hartland, her brother Brad and her sister Karina. From 1983 Hartland lived at Cromwell College, while studying at the University of Queensland. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985 and later a Bachelor of Economics in 1991. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Peter Cosgrove
General Sir Peter John Cosgrove, (born 28 July 1947) is a retired senior Australian Army officer who served as the 26th governor-general of Australia, in office from 2014 to 2019. A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Cosgrove fought in the Vietnam War, receiving the Military Cross in 1971. From 1983 to 1984, he was commander of the 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, and he later served as commander of the 6th Brigade and the 1st Division.
