Ohio State Route 48
State Route 48 (SR 48) is a north–south highway in Ohio that runs from SR 132 near Goshen to SR 66 near Houston, passing through Dayton. Commemorative designations On February 15, 2005, Governor Bob Taft signed Senate Bill 156, which designated SR 48 as the U.S.A.F. Pararescue Memorial Parkway. The route runs near the hometowns of four pararescuemen who were killed in action: William H. Pitsenbarger of Piqua, Sgt. Jim Locker of Sidney, Master Sgt. William McDaniel II of Greenville, and Airman 1st Class James Pleiman of Russia. Memorial markers are installed as far south as Goshen Township in Clermont County. In 2010, SR 48 within the Loveland city limits was additionally designated as the Captain Seth Mitchell Memorial Highway. State Route 73 (SR 73) is an east–west state highway in the southern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its western terminus is on U.S. Route 27 in Oxford at the intersection of SR 732. SR 73’s eastern terminus is in Portsmouth at US 23; this is also the southern terminus of SR 104, and the two state routes run concurrently for over from this point north. Once SR 73 enters Scioto County, it is designated as the Scenic Scioto Heritage Trail by the Ohio Department of Transportation. In combination with SR 32, SR 73's easternmost are part of the quickest route between Cincinnati and Portsmouth. Clearcreek Township is one of the eleven townships of Warren County, Ohio, United States, located in the north central portion of the county. It had a population of 20,974 in 2000, up from 13,344 in 1990; of this total, 8,747 lived in the unincorporated portions of the township. It was originally about forty-two square miles in area. The highest point in the county is in Clearcreek Township, near the community of Five Points. Statewide, the only other Clearcreek Townships are located in Fairfield County and in Ashland County.
