Kenny Wiggins
Kenny Wiggins (born August 8, 1988) is an American football guard who is a free agent. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Fresno State. Wiggins has also played with the San Francisco 49ers and the San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers. Professional career Baltimore Ravens After going undrafted in the 2011 NFL Draft, Wiggins was signed to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad on Monday November 28, 2011. San Francisco 49ers Wiggins signed with the San Francisco 49ers on January 31, 2012. He was cut prior to the regular season on September 1, 2012. Wiggins again signed with 49ers on February 7, 2013. He was released by the team on August 31, 2013. San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers On November 16, 2013, Wiggins was promoted to the Chargers' active roster. Guard (gridiron Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through.
