Kenny Håkansson
Kenny Håkansson is a Swedish musician, best known as the bassist for the Hellacopters. The Hellacopters were founded by Håkansson's childhood friend Nicke Andersson as a side project to his role as a drummer in the heavy metal band Entombed. Recording career During his younger years Håkansson regularly went through his father's record collection along with Andersson, and the two soon became fans of bands such as the MC5, the Ramones, Sex Pistols, the Damned and the Rolling Stones. The Hellacopters have released six full-length albums with their own material, two non-album work compilations, and many other official releases. The Ramones were an American punk rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens, in 1974. They are often cited as the first true punk rock group. Ampeg
Ampeg is a manufacturer best known for its bass amplifiers. Originally established in 1946 in Linden, New Jersey by Everett Hull and Stanley Michaels as "Michael-Hull Electronic Labs," today Ampeg is part of the Yamaha Guitar Group. Although specializing in the production of bass amplifiers, Ampeg has previously manufactured guitar amplifiers and pickups and instruments including double basses, bass guitars, and electric guitars. Orange Music Electronic Company
Orange Music Electronic Company is an English amplifier manufacturing company. The amplifiers have a distinctive sound and bright orange Tolex-like covering their heads and speaker cabinets. History 1960s Orange was founded in 1968 by musician and electronics designer Clifford Cooper of London, and opened premises at 3 New Compton Street in London's West End. Initially, Cooper used only the basement as a professional recording studio. The original studio featured an IBC mixing console originally owned by Joe Meek, producer of The Millionaires. Because the studio failed to meet its business costs, on September 2, 1968 the ground floor premises were opened as a music shop. Robert Dahlqvist
Robert Dahlqvist (16 April 1976 – 1 February 2017) was a Swedish guitarist and vocalist best known for his nine-year tenure with the rock band The Hellacopters. He was also the lead singer and lead guitarist for Dundertåget (first known as Thunder Express), a band originally started as a side project to his work with The Hellacopters. At the time of his death at age 40, Dahlqvist had nearly completed his second solo album, under the name Strängen. Career Early life and career Dahlqvist was born in Visby, Sweden but grew up in Uddevalla, Sweden, and got his first guitar at the age of ten and attended music school but quit after a month frustrated over not being allowed to play Kiss songs. ''Head Off'' is the seventh album released by the Swedish rock band The Hellacopters. The album consists of cover songs from acts that the band felt that everyone should know about and listen to. The 2,500 units of the vinyl release all come with a poster, an additional 1,500 units were later pressed which also contained the poster. A special CD box was also available in a limited run of 6,000 copies worldwide and consists of a special CD that contains all of the music on one side that can be played as a regular CD, on the other side the bonus track "Straight Until Morning" and a special pin and patch. Gluecifer is a Norwegian hard rock band based in Oslo. Formed in 1994, they produced several underground releases during their first years of existence and soon claimed to be "kings of rock". Backyard Babies are a Swedish rock band originally from Nässjö and currently based in Stockholm. The Flaming Sideburns are a garage punk/garage rock revival band that was formed in Helsinki, Finland in 1995. Most of the members are Finnish, but lead vocalist Jorge Eduardo "Speedo" Martinez is an Argentine expatriate. ZZ Top
ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. For 51 years, they comprised vocalist-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and vocalist-bassist Dusty Hill, until Hill's death in 2021. ZZ Top developed a signature sound based on Gibbons' blues guitar style and Hill and Beard's rhythm section.
