Kenneth Sherrod Hayes (born April 16, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for Beirut Club of the Lebanese Basketball League. He attended and played college basketball for the Miami RedHawks men's basketball, Miami University of Ohio. Professional career Hayes went undrafted in the 2010 NBA draft. On November 1, 2010, he was selected by the Maine Red Claws in the 2010 NBA Development League Draft, 2010 NBA D-League Draft. On April 18, 2012, he was named the NBA G League, NBA Development League’s Most Improved Player for the 2011–12 season. On August 5, 2012, he signed with Hapoel Gilboa Galil of Israel for the 2012–13 season. On August 8, 2013, he signed with Maccabi Ashdod B.C., Maccabi Ashdod for the 2013–14 season. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. NBA G League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The 2010 NBA draft was held on June 24, 2010, at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The draft, which started at 7:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (2300 UTC), was broadcast in the United States on ESPN. The NBA G League Most Improved Player is an annual NBA G League (previously known D-League or Development League) award given since the 2009–10 season. The award honors the player who demonstrated the most significant improvement over the course of the regular season.
