Bruce Caswell (born October 20, 1949) is a Republican politician from the U.S. state of Michigan, serving as a member of the Michigan Senate for the 16th district from 2011 until 2015. He also served in the Michigan State House of Representatives from 2003 to 2011, representing the 58th Michigan House district. Early life Caswell is the son of Donald and Eleanor Caswell. He graduated from North Adams High School in 1967. After graduation Caswell attended the United States Military Academy at West Point for two years. Kalamazoo ( ) is a city in the southwest region of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat of Kalamazoo County. At the 2010 census, Kalamazoo had a population of 74,262. Coldwater is a city in Branch County, Michigan, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 10,945. It is the county seat of Branch County, located in the center of the southern border of Michigan. The city is surrounded by Coldwater Township, but is administratively autonomous. History American settlers did not move into the area until around 1830, with many arriving from New York and New England. Coldwater was incorporated as a village in 1837, and then incorporated by the legislature as a city in 1861. It was designated in 1842 as the county seat of Branch County.
