Kenneth Lauren Burns (born July 29, 1953) is an American filmmaker known for his documentary film, documentary films and television series, many of which chronicle United States, American History of the United States, history and Culture of the United States, culture. His work is often produced in association with WETA-TV and/or the National Endowment for the Humanities and distributed by PBS. Ken Burns (footballer)
Kinear Burns (1923 – 2006), more commonly known as Ken Burns, was a Manx footballer, who played as a winger in the Football League for Tranmere Rovers and Southport F.C. Career After gaining notoriety in the Isle of Man Football League. Tranmere Rovers manager, Ernie Blackburn, traveled to the Isle of Man to offer Burns a professional contract. Burns was released after one season. Southport F.C. offered Burns a 2 month trial but the club declined to offer Burns a contract for the rest of the season. Upon being released by Southport, Burns would return to the Isle of Man to continue his football career where he would play until his retirement at 60. Personal life Burns worked on boats in the Isle of Man during the off seasons. Burns worked as an electrical contractor in Ramsey up until his death. Ken Burns (referee)
Kenneth Howard Burns (1931–2016) was an English football referee who officiated in the English Football League, and on the FIFA list. During his refereeing career he was based in Stourbridge, in the borough of Dudley, West Midlands, and was by profession a legal executive. He most notably refereed Sunderland AFC's famous 1–0 victory against Leeds United in the 1973 FA Cup Final which is still regarded as one of the biggest upsets in FA Cup history. Career He made the Football League referees list at the age of thirty in 1961. On 29 April 1967, he refereed the FA Cup semi-final between Leeds United and Chelsea at Villa Park, which the London side won 1–0, after Burns had disallowed two legitimate late Leeds goals. Revenge was to come six months later, in an old First Division fixture at Elland Road between the two sides, on 7 October 1967. Burns also refereed this, and the Yorkshire team won 7–0. Kenny Burns
Kenneth Burns (born 23 September 1953) is a former Scotland international footballer. The peak of his playing career was Nottingham Forest, with whom he won the 1977–78 Football League title and the FWA Player of the Year award. He also won two European Cups and two Football League Cups. Playing career Burns was born in Glasgow and started his career with Rangers as an apprentice, but did not play a senior match for the club. On being released in 1971, aged 17, he signed for Birmingham City. He arrived at the club as a defender, but was converted to striker after Bob Latchford left in 1974, and won the club's Player of the Year award that same year. He earned the first of his 20 international caps in that role soon afterwards. After joining Nottingham Forest for £150,000 in 1977, he was converted back into a central defender by Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. Benjamin Reichwald (born 9 April 1994), known professionally as Bladee (), is a Sweden, Swedish rapper, singer, record producer, designer and member of the artistic collective Drain Gang. Reichwald has released music through the Stockholm record label YEAR0001 from his debut album ''Eversince'' in 2016 through to his most recent album, ''Spiderr'', in 2022. Kenneth Ira Berns is an American virologist who is currently a distinguished professor emeritus at the department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
