Ardyth Kennelly
Ardyth Matilda Kennelly (April 15, 1912 – January 19, 2005) was an American novelist, with five novels published between 1949 and 1956 and one published posthumously, in 2014. Kennelly was born in Glenada, Oregon, and briefly lived in Salt Lake City, before moving back to Albany, Oregon. She attended Albany High School, where she graduated in 1929. After high school, she attended Oregon State College for three years, but she did not graduate. Before her career as an author, Kennelly wrote stories for ''The Manuscript'' while she attended Oregon State College, the ''Improvement Era'', and pulp magazines. As an author, Kennelly wrote five novels that were published during her lifetime: ''The Peaceable Kingdom, The Spur, Good Morning Young Lady, Up Home, and Marry Me, Carry Me.'' Her final novel, ''Variation West'', was published posthumously. Kennelly developed a second career as a collage and mixed media construction artist. Pádraig Kennelly
Pádraig Kennelly (10 February 1929 – 21 May 2011) was an Irish journalist, editor, photographer, cameraman and publisher, who co-founded and edited the '' Kerry's Eye'' newspaper. Kennelly originally began his career as a pharmacist. His interest in photography led him to pursue a career in photojournalism with his wife, Joan Kennelly. Together, Pádraig and Joan Kennelly took more than 500,000 photographs of daily life in County Kerry between 1953 and 1973. The photographs were subsequently digitised and published as a book. The collection was permanently collected into the Kennelly Archive, which was launched in 2009. In 1974, Pádraig and Joan co-founded the '' Kerry's Eye'' in the basement of their home on Ashe Street in Tralee, County Kerry. He remained the paper's editor until his retirement in 2010. Tim Kennelly
Tim Kennelly (6 July 1954 – 6 December 2005) was Irish Gaelic footballer. His league and championship career at senior level with the Kerry county team spanned ten years from 1974 to 1984. Born just outside Listowel, County Kerry, Kennelly played competitive Gaelic football in his youth. He came to prominence with the Listowel Emmets club, winning two divisional junior championship medals as well as a county junior championship medal in 1972. Kennelly was a regular on the Feale Rangers divisional team over a ten-year period, and won two county senior championship medals. Kennelly made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was picked on the Kerry minor team. He had two championship seasons with the minor team, however, he was a Munster runner-up on both occasions. Tadhg Kennelly (born 1 July 1981) is an Irish-Australian former international sportsperson turned recruiter and coach. He is most known for his top-level careers in both Gaelic football and Australian rules football being the only holder of both an AFL Premiership medallion and a Senior All-Ireland Championship medal, the highest-possible team-based achievement in both sports. He has also represented Ireland in the International Rules Series.
