Kennard, Indiana
Kennard is a town in Greensboro Township, Henry County, Indiana, United States. The population was 471 at the 2010 census. History Kennard was platted in 1882, and named for Jenkins Kennard. Cyrus Hinshaw helped to found the town and was instrumental in having the town named for Jenkins Kennard. Hinshaw Street was named after Cyrus and his family. On April 3, 1974 a multi-vortex F4 tornado hit Kennard, Indiana. The storm removed the entire second-story of the Kennard High School and destroyed 70% of the Town, including the Kennard Town Hall and fire station. 17 people were injured and one newborn child was killed in the storm. Queen Anne's County High School (QACHS) is a four-year public high school in Centreville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland, United States. It is one of two public high schools in Queen Anne's County along with Kent Island High School. Overview The school is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the town of Centreville, MD. The school is on Maryland Route 304, south of Maryland Route 305, east of Maryland Route 213, and west of U.S. Route 301. The current building was built in 1966.
