Kenko (company)
is a Japanese manufacturer and trading company of photographic accessories, especially known for its teleconverters and filters. Located in Tokyo, it has been producing conversion lenses since the 1960s. It produces camera lenses under the Kenko and Tokina brand names. It also manufactures a beginner's 35 mm SLR camera (using the Nikon F-mount) under the Kenko name. On June 22, 2011, Tokina announces its merger with Kenko. The site was declared a Cultural Heritage ''(Patrimonio Cultural)'' of the Cusco Region by the National Institute of Culture. It is one of the largest huacas (holy places) in the Cusco Region. Many ''huacas'' were based on naturally occurring rock formations. It was believed to be a place where sacrifices and mummification took place. List Of Craters On Mercury
This is a list of named craters on Mercury, the innermost planet of the Solar System ''(for other features, see list of geological features on Mercury)''. Most Mercurian craters are named after famous writers, artists and composers. According to the rules by IAU's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature, all new craters must be named after an artist that was famous for more than fifty years, and dead for more than three years, before the date they are named. Craters larger than 250 km in diameter are referred to as "basins" ''(also see )''. As of 2021, there are 414 named Mercurian craters, a small fraction of the total number of named Solar System craters, most of which are lunar, Martian and Venerian craters. Kenkō Satoshi
Kenkō Satoshi (剣晃 敏志, 27 June 1967 – 10 March 1998) was a sumo wrestler from Osaka, Japan. His highest rank was ''komusubi.'' Career Debuting in November 1984, he reached the second highest ''jūryō'' division in March 1991. His first tournament in the top ''makuuchi'' division was in July 1992. Scoring only three wins there he fell back to ''jūryō'', but reappeared in ''makuuchi'' in March 1993. He reached his highest rank of ''komusubi'' in May 1995. He fell back to ''maegashira'' 4 in July but turned in a strong 11-4 record, defeating ''yokozuna'' Akebono and returning to ''komusubi'' in September 1995. He also defeated ''yokozuna'' Takanohana in May 1996, the only wrestler to do so in that tournament. Kenko Matsuki
is a Japanese politician and a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. Overview A native of Sapporo, Hokkaidō and graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2003 after unsuccessful runs in 1996 and 2000. In 2010, Matsuki was expelled from the Democratic Party of Japan for voting in favor of a no-confidence motion in then-Prime Minister Naoto Kan. He was expelled from the party the same day and served the rest of the term as an independent. He ran for reelection in 2012 and 2013 as a member of the New Party Daichi, but lost. In 2014 he ran as a candidate of the Japan Innovation Party and gained a Diet seat through the Hokkaido proportional representation block. Yoshida Kenkō
was a Japanese author and Buddhist monk. His most famous work is ''Tsurezuregusa'' (''Essays in Idleness''), one of the most studied works of medieval Japanese literature. Kenko wrote during the Muromachi and Kamakura periods. Life and work Kenkō was probably born in 1283, the son of an administration official. Biography Takebe was the favorite student of the Japanese mathematician Seki Takakazu Takebe is considered to have extended and disseminated Seki's work. In 1706, Takebe was offered a position in the Tokugawa shogunate's department of ceremonies. In 1719, Takebe's new map of Japan was completed; and the work was highly valued for its quality and detail. is a Japanese racing driver who last competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 33 Toyota Tundra for Reaume Brothers Racing. Ryūei-ryū
is an Okinawan style of karate. It was originally a family style of the Nakaima family of Naha and is now one of the internationally recognized Okinawan Karate styles. It is practiced in the United States, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Europe, Mexico and Okinawa. History This style of karate was first introduced to Okinawa around 1875 by Norisato Nakaima. Born of wealthy parents in Kume, Okinawa, Nakaima went to Fuchou, China at the age of 19 for advanced studies in the martial arts. Kenkō Zenrakei Suieibu Umishō
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mitsuru Hattori, which has been serialized in Kodansha's ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' from issue 33 of 2005 to issue 21-22 of 2008.
