Kenji Ohtsuki
is a Japanese rock musician and Seiun Award-winning writer. His musical career began in the late 1970s. He is the vocalist of Kinniku Shōjo Tai, Tokusatsu, Underground Searchlie and Karate Bakabon. The lyrics of a Kinniku Shōjo Tai's song "Doko e demo Ikeru Kitte" affected the character design of Rei Ayanami, from the popular anime series ''Neon Genesis Evangelion''.Neon Genesis Evangelion, volume two. He's also performed the theme songs to several anime, including ''Welcome to the N.H.K.'', ''Hellsing'' and '' Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei''. Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO for short) is a Japanese electronic music band formed in Tokyo in 1978 by Haruomi Hosono (bass, keyboards, vocals), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums, lead vocals) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards, vocals). Stacy (film)
is a Japanese horror comedy film, released in 2001. It is based on a novel by Kenji Ohtsuki directed by Naoyuki Tomomatsu, in which teenage girls turn into zombies. Plot In the near future, the entire world is struck with a bizarre malady which affects every girl between the ages of 14 and 16 years old. Victims first experience a period of giddiness called "Near Death Happiness" ("NDH" or 臨死遊戯状態) before expiring. Within minutes of death the victim rises again as a flesh-eating zombie—a "Stacy". These Stacies run amok until they are cut into pieces in an act called a "Repeat-Kill" (再殺). The government has organized the poorly trained "Romero Repeat-Kill Troops," who ride around on garbage trucks, ordered to act out the disposal of the Stacies. By law, a Stacy may only be Repeat-Killed by her loved ones or the Romero Repeat Kill Troops. Scanch
is a Japanese rock band originally active from 1982 to 1996. The members of Scanch met and formed the band in 1982 - while they were still in high school. The band started with Rolly, shima-chang, Obata Pump and Doctor Tanaka as members. By the year 1990, they had their debut carried out from CBS/Sony. Dr. Tanaka left the band in 1993 and as a new keyboardist for the band they got Ogawa Bunmei. The remaining members continued the band until 1996. The band was greatly inspired by Led Zeppelin, Queen, Sweet and other 1970s style music. After the band broke up, the lead singer, Rolly, has been very successful in his solo career. shima-chang took part in a band called Funny Honey Pie. Daijiro Morohoshi
is a Japanese manga artist. He is well known for science fiction comics, allegorical comics and horror/mystery comics based on pseudohistory and folklore. The indirect influence by Cthulhu Mythos also appears here and there in his works. Biography Morohoshi grew up in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. After graduating from high school, he worked for the Tokyo metropolitan government for three years. In 1970, Morohoshi made his professional debut with his short story in ''COM''. In 1974, his short story was selected in the 7th Tezuka Award. His breakthrough came, when he started publishing the series in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump''. He published , in the same magazine afterwards. The Stalin
were a Japanese punk rock band formed in June 1980, by leader and vocalist Michiro Endo. After numerous member changes, he disbanded the group in February 1985. In May 1987 Michiro formed a group called Video Stalin, which mostly made videos instead of albums; they disbanded in 1988. In 1989 Michiro created a new band named Stalin and continued to make music with them until 1993. History 1979: Jiheitai Circa 1979, Michiro Endo, a 29-year-old socialist activist, formed a punk band called . Several of their songs would later become The Stalin songs, such as "Ideologist", "Niku" and their versions of "No Fun" and "Light My Fire". 1980–1981: Beginning In June 1980 Endo formed The Stalin.
