Kendra Lowe
Kendra Slawinski, OBE (née Lowe) (born 11 November 1962) is a former netball player for England. She had been part of the England national netball team between 1987 and 1997. She has represented her country on 128 occasions. She is one of the few netball players that is featured in the Guinness Book of Records for being the most capped player both in England and Internationally. Her brother is former footballer and ECU Joondalup SC head coach Kenny Lowe. In 1995, she was awarded an OBE for her services to Netball and inducted into the All England Netball Association Hall of Fame in 2001. She is now a coach for the Mavericks Superleague team. Order Of The British Empire
The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. It was established on 4 June 1917 by King George V and comprises five classes across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a knight if male or dame if female. Netball is a ball sport played on a court by two teams of seven players. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for female competitors. The sport is played on indoor and outdoor netball courts and is specifically played in schools. Netball is most popularly played in Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth nations. The England national women's netball team, also known as the ''Vitality Roses'', represent England in international netball competition. Kenny Lowe
Kenny Lowe (born 6 November 1961) is an English association football manager and former player. He is the current manager of Australian side Perth RedStar. Kenny played for ten clubs in England, and had a stint in Australia also. He later managed Gateshead and Barrow before returning to Perth to work in football, where he would undertake a five-year tenure as the manager of A-League side Perth Glory. Playing career Lowe played for ten clubs during his career, which started on a part-time basis in 1981 with Hartlepool United, while he served an apprenticeship as a pipe-fitter and welder with ICI. He moved to Australia in 1986 to play for Spearwood Dalmatinacs in the Western Australia Premier League before returning to England. The Mavericks (netball)
Saracens Mavericks is an English netball team based at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield. Their senior team plays in the Netball Superleague. In 2005–06 they were founder members of the league. They were Superleague champions in 2007–08 and 2011. Due to various sponsorship deals and partnership arrangements, the team has played under several different names. Between 2005–06 and 2008–09 they played as Galleria Mavericks. Netball Superleague
The Netball Super League is a top level netball league featuring teams from the United Kingdom. The league is organised by England Netball but features teams based in England, Wales and Scotland. The league was commenced playing at the 2005–06 season, replacing the Super Cup as the elite netball competition in England. Since 2016 the league has been sponsored by VitalityHealth and, as a result, it is also known as the Vitality Netball Superleague. Historically the league's most successful teams are Team Bath, who have won five titles, and the Mavericks, who have played in seven grand finals. Cardinal Newman Catholic School is a Roman Catholic Academy that caters for pupils aged between 11 and 18, located in the Warden Hills area of Bedfordshire, England.
