Ken Sedd
Kenneth Alan Seddington (26 October 1939 – 9 January 2021), better known as Ken Sedd, was an English character actor, best known for his various comedic roles in the sketches on ''The Benny Hill Show'' from 1969 to 1984. Sedd was also a professional stuntman, performing stunts for Benny Hill over the course of 25 years. Life and career Sedd was born in October 1939 in Heston, Middlesex as Kenneth Alan Seddington. His best known roles were in the sketches on the long-running series ''The Benny Hill Show''. Other notables appearances included '' Softly Softly'', ''Adam Adamant Lives!'' and ''Doctor Who''. Sedd died in Camberley, Surrey on 9 January 2021, at the age of 81. He was survived by his wife and three children. Heston
Heston is a suburban area and part of the Hounslow district in the London Borough of Hounslow. The residential settlement covers a slightly smaller area than its predecessor farming village, 10.8 miles (17.4 km) west south-west of Charing Cross and adjoins the M4 motorway but has no junction with it; Heston also adjoins the Great West Road, a dual carriageway, mostly west of the "Golden Mile" headquarters section of it. ''Doomwatch'' is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC, which ran on BBC1 between 1970 and 1972. The series was set in the then present day, and dealt with a scientific government agency led by Doctor Spencer Quist (played by John Paul), responsible for investigating and combating various ecological and technological dangers. ''Whoops Apocalypse'' is a six-part 1982 television sitcom by Andrew Marshall and David Renwick, made by London Weekend Television for ITV. Marshall and Renwick later reworked the concept as a 1986 film of the same name from ITC Entertainment, with almost completely different characters and plot, although one or two of the original actors returned in different roles. ''The Two Ronnies'' is a British television comedy sketch show starring Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett. It was created by Bill Cotton and aired on BBC1 from April 1971 to December 1987. The usual format included sketches, solo sections, serial stories and musical finales. Origins Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett met in 1963 at the Buckstone Club in the Haymarket, London, where Corbett was serving drinks between acting jobs.
