Ken Feltscheer
Ken Feltscheer (9 June 1915 – 25 December 2017) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne and Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He turned 100 in June 2015 and died on 25 December 2017 at the age of 102. Feltscheer grew up on a dairy farm near Neerim South, and playing under big brother Eric's captaincy he kicked 10 goals one afternoon. That got him noticed by Moe who were in the Central Gippsland FL at the time. He kicked ten goals on debut then got interested in him. After an invitation by letter he moved to the city. He played in two reserves premierships under seconds coach "Bull" Adams. Melbourne were interested in former Hawthorn Fullback Bert Chandler, who had returned from Western Australia. Feltscheer and fellow teammate Gordon Waters were part of a player swap for Chandler in 1937. Neerim
Neerim is a locality in Victoria, Australia, on Main Neerim Road in the Shire of Baw Baw. The locality was connected to the Victorian Railways network when on 27 March 1917 an extension of the line from Warragul to Neerim South was opened, later connecting to Noojee in 1919. Moe Football Club
The Moe Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Lions'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based at Ted Summerton Reserve in the town of Moe, Victoria. The club teams currently compete in the Gippsland Football League. Club history There was a meeting at Semmen's Moe Hotel in April, 1889 to form a local football club, with Mr. A A McPhee elected as President, R J Martin - Secretary and C W J Coleman as Treasurer. Bert Chandler (Australian Footballer)
Bert Reade Chandler (7 October 1913 – 15 November 1961) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1930s. Chandler, from South Camberwell, started out at Hawthorn in 1931 but played just three games and did not make any VFL appearances in 1932. He kicked 20 goals in 1933, seven of those goals in a loss against Melbourne and he did not experience a win until his 14th VFL game late in the year. A key position player, he moved to the West Australian National Football League (WANFL) in 1936 and captain-coached Swan Districts for the season. He then returned to Victoria and spent the 1937 VFL season at Melbourne, part of a player swap, got Ken Feltscheer and Gordon Waters in return.
