Arvesta Kelly (born November 20, 1945) is an American former professional basketball player. A combo guard, he played four seasons in the American Basketball Association (ABA), winning the title with the Pittsburgh Pipers in 1968. College career By his own admission Kelly was "not real good in basketball" in his junior year at Lanier High but performed better in track and field for which he received a scholarship offer from Lincoln University (Missouri). Archibald Kelly (9 December 1921 – 15 July 2005) was a Scottish footballer who played as a centre forward. He is best remembered for his time with Motherwell, his goals helping the side to their first victories in both the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup. He was born in Glasgow.
