Shin-Kawasaki Station
is a passenger railway station located in Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Shin-Kawasaki Station is served by the Yokosuka Line and Shōnan-Shinjuku Line, and is located 12.7 km from Shinagawa Station and 19.5 km from Tokyo Station. Station layout The station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks. The platforms are capable of handling 15-car trains. The station is located adjacent to JR Freight's Shin-Tsurumi locomotive depot. The station is located on the former Hinkaku freight spur line of the Tōkaidō Main Line, but is not on the Tōkaidō Main Line itself, nor do trains from the Tōkaidō Main Line pass through the station. The station has a ''Midori no Madoguchi'' staffed ticket office. Platforms History Shin-Kawasaki Station opened on 1 October 1980 as a commuter station for people living in the surrounding large residential areas working in Tokyo or Yokohama.

Kawasaki-Daishi Station
is a passenger railway station located in Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Keikyū. Lines Kawasaki-Daishi Station is served by the Keikyū Daishi Line and is located from the terminus of the line at Keikyū Kawasaki Station. Station layout The station consists of two opposed side platforms connected by an underpass. There are two exits, one on the south side serving the Keikyū Kawasaki bound platform and one serving the Kojimashinden bound platform on the northeast corner. Platforms History Kawasaki-Daishi opened on 21 January 1899 as on the Daishi Railway, the predecessor to the current Keikyū. It was renamed Kawasaki-Daishi Station in November 1925. Kawasaki-Gashi Freight Terminal
was a freight railway station of Japanese National Railways located in Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan. The freight terminal was the end of a 1.7-kilometer branchline of the Nambu Line from Yakō Station. History For the opening of its first lines on March 9, 1927, Nambu Railway (as called until its nationalization in 1944) built two terminals in Kawasaki: Kawasaki Station for passengers and Kawasaki-Gashi Freight Terminal for freight. Kawasaki-Gashi Freight Terminal was built on the bank of the Tama River to provide connection between railway and water transport. It would have been economical if the freight terminal had been connected directly from Kawasaki Station, but the railway could not acquire lands for this route. Initially Kawasaki-Gashi Freight Terminal mainly handled gravel as freight.
