Kau Shi Wai
Fung Mei Wai (), formerly Kau Shi Wai (, literally ''dog shit walled (village)''), is a village in Fung Yuen, Tai Po, Hong Kong. Administration Fung Mei Wai is one of the villages represented within the Tai Po Rural Committee. For electoral purposes, Fung Mei Wai is part of the Hong Lok Yuen constituency, which was formerly represented by Zero Yiu Yeuk-sang until May 2021. Name change In 2013, the Lands Department's Geographical Place Names Board recommended changing the name of the village. The proposal followed a letter from a Tai Po Fung Yuen village representative, who complained that Kau Shi Wai () was indecent and could cause embarrassment. The Tai Po District Council voted in favour of the name change by 10 votes to 0, with 5 abstentions. The new name, Fung Mei Wai (), was officially adopted in January 2014. Fung Yuen () is an area and a village located northwest of Tolo Harbour, in Tai Po, Tai Po District, Hong Kong. Administration Fung Yuen is a recognized village under the New Territories Small House Policy. For electoral purposes, it is part of the Hong Lok Yuen (constituency), Hong Lok Yuen constituency of the Tai Po District Council. It was formerly represented by Zero Yiu Yeuk-sang, who was elected in the 2019 Hong Kong local elections, local elections until May 2021. Tai Po is an area in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It refers to the vicinity of the traditional market towns in the area presently known as Tai Po Old Market or Tai Po Kau Hui () (the original "Tai Po Market") on the north of Lam Tsuen River and the Tai Po Hui (the current Tai Po Market; historically Tai Wo Shi, literally ''Tai Wo market'') on Fu Shin Street on the south of the Lam Tsuen River, near the old Tai Po Market railway station of the Kowloon-Canton Railway (British Section). Shitterton
Shitterton is a hamlet in Dorset, England. It has attracted worldwide attention for its name, which dates back at least 1000 years and means "farmstead on the stream used as an open sewer". Shitterton has frequently been noted on lists of unusual place names. The hamlet includes a collection of historic thatched buildings dating back to the 18th century and earlier. Location Shitterton is located at the western edge of the village of Bere Regis in the Dorset district of Dorset, England, near the junction of the A31 and A35 trunk roads halfway between Poole and Dorchester. The hamlet has about 50 households.
