Katie Roe Carr is a British television personality. She is mostly known for her appearances and performances in Channel 4 documentary ''Date My Mum'' and in the shows '' The Circle'' and ''Lorraine''. Biography and career Katie is from Hampshire, England. She is known to run a tanning salon from 2005 and an online hair accessory store named Honey Berri. Katie being a single mother of four children, first appeared on Channel 4's documentary ''Date My Mum'' in the year 2016 where her sons Jay and Harry arranged a date for Katie Roe Carr in the quest to find love. The Circle (British TV Series)
''The Circle'', sometimes called ''The Circle UK'', is a British reality television game show and the original version of ''The Circle'' franchise. Produced by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group and airing on Channel 4, the show bills itself as a game based around social media, with the concept that "anyone can be anyone in The Circle". Throughout the show, contestants live in the same apartment building but are never allowed to meet. The show is narrated by Sophie Willan, whilst the first and last episode of the first series were hosted by Maya Jama and Alice Levine (later replaced by Emma Willis from the second series onwards). The show has been compared to '' Big Brother'' and ''Catfish'' in format, as well as ''Black Mirror'' episode " Nosedive" with the concept of having to rate other people. ''Lorraine'' is a British breakfast television programme that is broadcast on ITV. Launched on 6 September 2010, it is presented by Lorraine Kelly and broadcasts live every weekday from 9:00am to 10:00am. The programme features a variety of showbiz, fashion, health, food, celebrity interviews and competitions. The programme's run-time crosses the 9.25am ending of the official ITV Breakfast slot (6am-9.25am), which is wholly owned by ITV plc. ''Date My Mom'' is a television dating show airing on the music channel MTV and produced by Kalissa Productions. The series premiered on November 15, 2004 and ended in 2006. An 18- to 24-year-old heterosexual male, gay male or lesbian female, goes on three separate dates with three moms, who try to convince them to pick their son or daughter to date. The dater only meets the mother and makes their decision solely on their impression of the mother and her descriptions of her child. The dates are varied and are occasionally geared towards the dater's interests. The dates range from a simple lunch date to cheerleading lessons, washing cars, picking wild flowers, cooking, sports, and even getting tattoos.
