Katha Nayagan (1988 Film)
''Katha Nayagan'' () is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language comedy film, directed by Muktha Srinivasan and produced by Ramaswamy Govind and Muktha S. Ravi. The film stars Pandiarajan, S. V. Sekhar, Rekha and Manorama. It is a remake of the Malayalam film ''Nadodikkattu''. Plot Friends Mani and Ramani are B.Com and SSLC graduates respectively. They have difficulties finding a job suited to their qualification. Even if they find a job, they are unable to sustain in their job for long due to their attitude. Due to their innocence, Mani and Ramani are often fooled by people. One man sells them a cow saying it will give them many litres of milk per day, but the cow ends up hardly giving them any milk. Muktha Srinivasan
Muktha Srinivasan (1929 – 2018) was an Indian film director and producer. Personal life V. Srinivasan was born in Malapuram on 31 October 1929 in a Tamil Brahmin family. His parents were Venkatachariar and Chellamma. He followed all Brahmin rituals sincerely throughout his life. He remained a vegetarian. His elder brother is Muktha Ramaswamy and his sister is Revathi. He married Prema in 1951. He has three children Muktha S. Sundar, also a director, Mukhta Ravi and Maya.Muktha srinivasan is the founder of Muktha films. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
