Kate Slatter
Kate Elizabeth Slatter OAM (born 10 November 1971; married name Kate Allen) is an Australian former rower, a sixteen time national champion, world champion and Olympic champion from Adelaide, South Australia. She is a three-time Olympian who in 1996 won Australia's first Olympic gold in women's rowing. Club and state rowing Slatter began rowing at the Adelaide University Boat Club in 1989, and rowed in their victorious women's eight at the 1996 Australian University Games, two weeks after winning gold in Atlanta. Slatter made her selection debut for South Australia in 1992 in the state women's coxless four to contest the ULVA Trophy at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. She raced in further South Australian women's coxless fours in 1993, 1996 and 1998 seeing a victory in 1996. Adelaide University Boat Club
The Adelaide University Boat Club is a rowing club affiliated with the University of Adelaide. The club was founded in 1881, and in 1896 helped to form the Adelaide University Sports Association. The main clubrooms, donated by Robert Barr Smith in 1909, are located on the north bank of the River Torrens on War Memorial Drive, adjacent to the Adelaide University Sports Grounds. The shed has two boat bays, a gym and weights room and a small bar. The club also leases a secondary boatshed at the South Australian Rowing Association complex on Military Road at West Lakes, and also trains regularly at Port Adelaide's North Arm Creek and Murray Bridge. The UniSport Nationals is a multi-sport event held annually between the 43 Australian universities and tertiary institutions. Kim Crow
Kimberley Jean "Kim" Brennan (née Crow; born 9 August 1985) is a retired Australian rower. She is a sixteen-time national champion, two-time World Champion, three-time Olympian and Olympic gold medallist. Personal Crow was born in Melbourne and went to school at Templestowe Heights Primary School from prep to year 4 then Ruyton Girls' School from year 5. Her father Max Crow was a Victorian Football League footballer between 1974 and 1986. She is a qualified lawyer and has been a regular columnist for ''The Age''. The Oarsome Foursome is the nickname for an Australian men's rowing coxless four crew who competed with a clear lineage between 1990 and 2012, winning two Olympic gold medals and one silver medal, two world championships as a coxless four, and additional world championship titles in coxed boats. Victoria Toogood
Victoria Toogood is an Australian former rower. She was a national champion, a junior world champion and a medalist at World Championships. Club and state rowing Toogood's senior club rowing was in Adelaide from the Torrens Rowing Club and Riverside Rowing Club. Toogood first made South Australian state representation in 1991 in the youth four with Kate Slatter which contested and won the Bicentennial Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. The following year she again rowed in the South Australian youth four and was joined by Alison Davies. In 1993 Toogood was selected in the South Australian women's senior four to compete for the ULVA Trophy at the Interstate Regatta. Alison Davies
Alison Nicole Fallon ( Davies, born 26 September 1974) is an Australian rower. She was a junior world champion in 1992 and competed at two Olympic Games and at four senior World Rowing Championships. State rowing Davies made State selection to represent South Australia in a youth coxless four competing for the Bicentennial Cup at the 1992 Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. For six consecutive years 1993 to 1998 she represented South Australia racing for the Women's Interstate Four Championship.
