Kat Frankie
Kathryn Mellander (born 8 July 1978), who performs as Kat Frankie is an Australian-born singer-songwriter and guitarist. She relocated to Berlin in December 2004 and has issued four solo studio albums, ''Pocketknife'' (September 2007), ''The Dance of a Stranger Heart'' (September 2010), ''Please Don’t Give Me What I Want'' (September 2012) and ''Bad Behaviour'' (January 2018). Biography Kat Frankie was born Kathryn Mellander on 8 July 1978 in Sydney, Australia. She grew up with her mother in the Sydney suburbs of Darlinghurst and Surry Hills. Her mother's music collection introduced her to Bread, Carly Simon, and Simon and Garfunkel. She briefly joined a school choir but did not receive formal music lessons but taught herself to sing and from the age of 17 how to play guitar. Haldern Pop
Haldern Pop is an annual German open air music festival, first held in 1984. It takes place in Rees-Haldern (North Rhine-Westphalia). Focus The Haldern Pop Festival cannot be limited to one genre. The focus ranges from experimental metal, punk and indie-pop to jazz, classical concerts and German folk music. Played on several stages in the village of Haldern. Next to the main stage, a mirror tent on the festival grounds will be used for the performances. The other stages are the pub "Haldern Pop Bar", the St. Georg church, a youth center and a recording studio in the village. Chicks on Speed is a feminist music and fine art ensemble, formed in Munich in 1997, after members Australian Alex Murray-Leslie and American Melissa Logan met at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. Though Chicks on Speed reached cult status throughout the 2000s as catalysts of the musical genre electroclash, the band was founded and more broadly, performed as a multidisciplinary art group working in performance art, electronic dance music, collage graphics, textile design and fashion. Kreuzberg
Kreuzberg () is a district of Berlin, Germany. It is part of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough located south of Mitte.
