Kastoria F.C. or AS Kastoria 1980 ( el, Α.Σ. Καστοριά 1980 - Αθλητικός Σύλλογος Καστοριά 1980), the ''Athletic Club Kastoria 1980'', is a Greek association football club based in the city of Kastoria, Macedonia, Greece. History The club was established in 1963 when three local football clubs (Aris, Atromitos and Orestias) merged to form one stronger team representing the town. In 1974, Kastoria played for the first time in the A' Ethniki of the Greek National League. Kastoria have played in the A' Division from 1974–1983 and again in season 1996-1997. The Super League Greece 1 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λιγκ 1), or Super League 1, is the highest professional association football league in Greece. The league was formed on 16 July 2006 and replaced ''Alpha Ethniki'' at the top of the Greek football league system. It consists of 14 teams and runs from August to May, with teams playing 26 games. Nikos Sarganis
Nikos Sarganis (Greek language, Greek: Νίκος Σαργκάνης; born 13 January 1954) is a Greek former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Career Born in Rafina, Attica, Sarganis started his football career as a fullback at Ilisiakos F.C., Ilisiakos. He switched to goalkeeper under the guidance of his coach, Christos Rimbas, himself a capable goalkeeper of the 1930s. Sarganis moved on to Kastoria FC in 1977 and played for the "furriers" until the end of the 1980 season. He was part of the team that shocked the Greek football world by winning the Greek Football Cup, Greek Cup in 1980. Following that triumph, he transferred to Olympiakos FC, Olympiakos where he would play from 1980 until the end of the 1985 season. Georgios Paraschos
Georgios Paraschos ( el, Γεώργιος Παράσχος; born 23 August 1952) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Playing career As a football player, he began his career from the youth academy of PAOK in 1967. He became a professional player in 1971 and played with the Kastoria team until 1985, making appearances for the club in the Alpha Ethniki. He had four caps for the Greece national football team. Managerial career As a coach, he started in 1985, but as an amateur, in 1989 he coached Kastoria ( 2nd Division) until 1992. After that he coached teams such as: Trikala, Anagenissi Karditsa, Kavala, Iraklis, APOEL, Aris, PAS Giannina, Paniliakos, Niki Volos, Akratitos, PAOK, Skoda Xanthi and Chalkidona (which later merged into Atromitos). Antonis Minou ( el, Αντώνης Μήνου, born 4 May 1958) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Minou took his first football steps in Almopos Aridea and to Kastoria in 1980 and two years later to Panathinaikos, where he became known to the general public and was called to the national team. At Panathinaikos he won two league titles and three cups. However, the difficult competition with Nikos Sarganis forced him to look for another football team and in the summer of 1988 he was transferred to AEK Athens. In his first season in the team, he was a second choice behind Spyros Ikonomopoulos, but after the following season he became a regular and then never lost his place again, until the end of his spell at AEK. Kyriakos Karataidis ( el, Κυριάκος Καραταΐδης; born 4 July 1965) is a former Greek football player. He played for Olympiacos, as well as for the national side. Career Born in Oinoi, Kastoria, Karataidis began playing senior club football with Flatsata Oinois in 1981, and joined Kastoria F.C. one year later in 1982. In 1988, Karataidis would join Olympiacos F.C., the club he would play for until he retired in 2001. He won five consecutive Alpha Ethniki and three Greek Football Cup titles with Olympiacos. FC Dinamo Tbilisi ( ka, დინამო თბილისი, ) is a Georgian professional football club based in Tbilisi, Georgia, that competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top flight of Georgian football. The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA. The tournament ran for 39 seasons, with the final edition held in 1998–99, after which it was discontinued.
