Antonis Minou
Antonis Minou ( el, Αντώνης Μήνου, born 4 May 1958) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Minou took his first football steps in Almopos Aridea and to Kastoria in 1980 and two years later to Panathinaikos, where he became known to the general public and was called to the national team. At Panathinaikos he won two league titles and three cups. However, the difficult competition with Nikos Sarganis forced him to look for another football team and in the summer of 1988 he was transferred to AEK Athens. In his first season in the team, he was a second choice behind Spyros Ikonomopoulos, but after the following season he became a regular and then never lost his place again, until the end of his spell at AEK. The decision by the club's management to release him in the summer of 1993 caused quite a surprise, since he was the first-choice goalkeeper in his last two seasons in which the team won the respective championships, while ... Aridaia
Aridaía (; mk, С'ботско, ''S'botsko''; bg, Съботско) is a town and a former municipality in the Pella regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Almopia, of which it is a municipal unit. It was the capital of the former Almopia eparchy. It is located in the northwest corner of the Pella regional unit, bordering the southern part of the North Macedonia and the northeast corner of the Florina regional unit. Its land area is . The population of Aridaia proper is 7,057, while that of the entire municipal unit is 20,313 (2011 census). 1994 FIFA World Cup
The 1994 FIFA World Cup was the 15th FIFA World Cup, the world championship for men's national soccer teams. The 1987–88 Greek Football Cup was the 46th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 70 teams participated, 16 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. The 1985–86 Greek Football Cup was the 44th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 76 teams participated, 16 from Alpha Ethniki, 20 from Beta, and 40 from Gamma. It was an interesting edition, with the eternal enemies, Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, to contest the Final after 11 years. Olympiacos had eliminated "big three of Thessaloniki" ( PAOK, Aris, and Iraklis), while Panathinaikos only one Alpha Ethniki team, AEK Athens, in semi-finals. In the Final, that was held in Olympic Stadium, the common home of all three teams of former P.O.K. that year, Panathinaikos achieved an impressive 4–0 victory against their opponent, completing one successful season with the win of The Double. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. Super League Greece
The Super League Greece 1 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λιγκ 1), or Super League 1, is the highest professional association football league in Greece. The league was formed on 16 July 2006 and replaced ''Alpha Ethniki'' at the top of the Greek football league system. It consists of 14 teams and runs from August to May, with teams playing 26 games.
