Kassidy
Kassidy are a Scottish alternative folk rock band. The band consist of Barrie-James O'Neill (vocals, piano and guitar), Hamish Fingland (vocals and guitar), Lewis Andrew (vocals, guitar, accordion and keyboard) and Chris Potter (vocals and guitar). The band was formed in late 2009 in Glasgow. The quartet met through friends' bands and fortunate pub encounters. Kassidy began writing and recording their music in a share house, which they later converted to a personal studio. They released three EP's, the second entitled ''The Rubbergum EP Volume 2'' on 16 August 2010. To follow their EPs, Kassidy released their debut album, ''Hope St.'', on 21 March 2011. They released their second album, '' One Man Army'', on 30 April 2012. The band toured along with Lana Del Rey from 3 April 2013 to 31 May 2013 on her Paradise Tour in Europe. ''One Man Army'' is the second album by Scottish alternative folk rock band Kassidy. The album was released on 27 September 2012 through Mercury Records. Production The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in a week. The Paradise Tour was the second concert tour by American singer, Lana Del Rey, in support of her third extended play, ''Paradise''. The tour kicked off on April 3, 2013 at Galaxie Mega Hall in Amnéville, France and visited many major European countries during the spring and summer in 2013. The tour concluded on October 18, 2014 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. Overall, the tour lasted over eighteen months from April 2013 to October 2014 and visited four continents. "Summer Wine" is a song written by Lee Hazlewood. It was originally sung by Suzi Jane Hokom and Lee Hazlewood in 1966, but it was made famous by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood in 1967.
