Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. Oslo was founded as a city at the end of the Viking Age in 1040 under the name Ánslo, and established as a ''kaupstad'' or trading place in 1048 by Harald Hardrada. is the largest Norwegian biographical encyclopedia. The first edition (NBL1) was issued between 1921 and 1983, including 19 volumes and 5,100 articles. It was published by Aschehoug with economic support from the state. bought the rights to NBL1 from Aschehoug in 1995, and after a pre-project in 1996–97 the work for a new edition began in 1998. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957. Lars Haukaas (born 4 November 1948) is a Norwegian organizational leader. He was born in Oslo, and holds the cand.jur. degree. He worked in Norsk Medisinaldepot from 1983 to 1989, as director in the Norwegian State Railways from 1989 to 1994 and in the employers' association Norwegian Association of Publicly Owned Companies from 1994. Ullevaal Stadion () is an all-seater football stadium located in Oslo, Norway. It is the home ground of the Norway national football team, and the site of the Norwegian Cup Final. From its opening in 1926 to 2009 it was the home ground of FK Lyn and from 1999 to 2017 was a home ground of Vålerenga IF. With a capacity of approximately 28,000, it is the largest football stadium in Norway. The national stadium is fully owned by the Football Association of Norway (NFF). Ingar Pettersen (born 1946) is a Norwegian consultant and former civil servant, with prominent positions in the health sector. Biography He was the chief financial officer in Oslo municipality in the late 1980s. He resigned in March 1990. From 1996 to 1997 he was an acting chief executive at Ullevål Hospital. He also chaired Aker Hospital from 1994 to August 2000. In October 2000 he was named as chairman of Ullevål Hospital. He was also leased by '' Dagsavisen'' in 2001 to save the newspaper's economy.
