Karl Corneliusson
Björn Karl Håkan Corneliusson (born 17 November 1976) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Starting off his career with Örgryte IS, he went on to play professionally for AIK, Salernitana, Napoli, and Landskrona BoIS during a career that spanned between 1994 and 2007. He won nine caps for the Sweden national team between 2000 and 2001, scoring one goal. Club career Corneliusson began his footballing career with Örgryte IS, before signing with AIK ahead of the 1999 Allsvenskan season. While at AIK, he was a part of the team that competed in the 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League, as well as won the 1998–1999 Svenska Cupen. After the 2003 Allsvenskan season, he left AIK to sign for Salernitana in the Italian Serie B. The following season, he was loaned out to Napoli in Serie C. 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League
The 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League was the 45th season of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA's premier European club football tournament, and the eighth season since its rebranding from the "European Champion Clubs' Cup" or "European Cup". Jens Niclas Alexandersson (born 29 December 1971) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a right winger and right back. Beginning his career with Halmstads BK in 1989, he went on to represent IFK Göteborg, Sheffield Wednesday, Everton, and West Ham United before retiring in 2009. A full international between 1993 and 2008, he won 109 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at two FIFA World Cups ( 2002 and 2006) and two UEFA European Championships (2000 and 2008). 2006 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers
The 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification competition was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. Each confederation – the AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe) – was allocated a certain number of the 32 places at the tournament. A total of 197 teams entered the qualification process for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. In 2001 FIFA ended automatic qualification of the reigning champion, so that 2002 champions Brazil became first to participate in the qualifying tournament. Teddy Lučić
Teddy Mark Šime Lučić (; born 15 April 1973) is a Swedish former footballer and manager. He played as a centre-back. Lučić made his debut for Sweden in 1995, and represented his country at three FIFA World Cups (1994, 2002, and 2006) and two UEFA European Championships (2000 and 2004), earning a total of 86 caps. Early life Lučić was born on 15 April 1973 in Biskopsgården, Gothenburg to Croatian father, Krešimir, and Finnish mother, Annis. His father Krešimir was also a football player. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The 1998 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, which spanned two years (1996–98), had 46 entrants. Before the quarter-finals stage, Romania were chosen as the hosts of the final stages, consisting of four matches in total. The exclusion (for political reasons) of the team from Serbia and Montenegro, then known as the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ended.
