Karjalainen II Cabinet
Ahti Karjalainen's second cabinet was the 53rd government of Finland. The cabinet existed from 15 July 1970 to 29 October 1971. It was a majority coalition government formed by the Social Democratic Party of Finland, the Agrarian League, the Finnish People's Democratic League, the Liberals, and the Swedish People's Party of Finland. Finland ( fi, Suomi ; sv, Finland ), officially the Republic of Finland (; ), is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. Artturi Jämsén
Artturi Jämsén (1925–1976) was a Finnish politician. He was a long-term member of the Finnish Parliament and the minister of interior between 1970 and 1971. He also served as the governor of Central Finland region. Biography Jämsén was born in Pihtipudas 7 February 1925. He was a high school graduate and a sergeant by military rank. Anna-Liisa Tiekso
Anna-Liisa Korpinen ( Tiekso; 14 March 1929 – 20 September 2010) was a Finnish politician. She represented Lapland in the Parliament of Finland as a member of the Finnish People's Democratic League from 1951 to 1974. In 1968, she was appointed as Minister of Social Affairs by prime minister Mauno Koivisto, and was the Minister of Social Affairs and Health in prime minister Ahti Karjalainen's government from 1970 to 1971. Arne Morten Berner (15 November 1927 – 9 December 1988) was a Finnish liberal politician who held many ministerial offices. Career He served as a Member of Parliament for six years from 1966–1972. From 1970–1971 he was appointed as both Minister of Trade and Industry and Deputy Minister of Health and Social Affairs. He was appointed as Minister of Trade and Industry again from 1976–1977. Olavi Salonen (born 20 December 1933 in Noormarkku) is a Finnish athlete. He is a former world record holder of men's 1500-metre run. Lars Sebastian ”Basse” Lindeman (23 March 1920, in Viipuri– 14 September 2006, in Lahti) was a Finnish politician and ambassador. Lindeman completed his degree in agricultural engineering in 1944. Jaakko Itälä (1933–2017) was a Finnish politician. He served as the Minister of Education (Finland), minister of education for two terms in the 1970s.
