Karimnagar Assembly constituency is a constituency of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, India. It is one of the three constituencies in Karimnagar district. It includes the city of Karimnagar. It is part of Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency. Gangula Kamalakar, the current Civil Supplies Minister of Telangana, emerged as the winner with a majority of 14,974 votes and is representing the constituency. Gangula Kamalakar
Gangula Kamalakar (born 8 May 1968) is an Indian politician who served as the Minister of BC Welfare, Food and Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs of Telangana state. He represents Karimnagar constituency as an MLA in the Telangana Legislative Assembly from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Early life Kamalakar was born on 8 May 1968 in Karimnagar of present-day Telangana (then part of Andhra Pradesh) to Mallaiah and Laxmi Narasamma. He has educated upto Intermediate He enrolled at KITS, Ramtek, Maharashtra in Civil Engineering in 1986 batch, Unfortunately he was not able to complete his degree. Bandi Sanjay Kumar (born 11 July 1971) is an Indian politician who is a Member of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, representing the Karimnagar constituency since 2019. In 2020, he was appointed the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana. He is a board member of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. The Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held in Telangana on 7 December 2018 to constitute the second Legislative Assembly since the formation of the state in 2014. Bharat Rashtra Samithi ( ; BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi ( TRS), is an Indian political party which is predominantly active in the state of Telangana.
