Karel Sedláček (born 17 February 1979) is a Czech darts player. Career Sedláček qualified for the 2014 BDO World Darts Championship playing Paul Hogan in the preliminary round, losing 1–3. He qualified for the 2014 BDO World Trophy, won in the first round 6–1 over Robbie Green, then lost in the last 16 to Paul Jennings 2–7. He qualified for the 2015 BDO World Darts Championship, playing Paul Coughlin in the preliminary round; he won 3–2. He lost 1–3 to Glen Durrant in the first round, with the highest average - 99.58 - in all the first round matches, and the third-highest average for a match loser in Lakeside history. In 2018 Sedláček qualified for the Dutch Darts Championship in Maastricht. He won the East European qualifier to qualify for the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship, his first qualification for that event. Diogo Portela (born 12 June 1988) is a Brazilian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Career Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Portela first came into prominence in 2015 when he appeared on the Sky1 darts show '' One Hundred and Eighty'', where with the help of James Wade, he won £16,000. 2019 German Darts Grand Prix
The 2019 German Darts Grand Prix was the third of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Zenith, Munich, Germany, from 20–22 April 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Keegan Brown
Keegan Brown (born 5 November 1992) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He won the 2014 PDC World Youth Championship. Career Early career Brown began playing darts at the age of nine and was playing in men's county league games for the Isle of Wight at the age of 13. He qualified for the 2011 PDC Under-21 World Championship but lost to Michael van Gerwen 2–4 in the last 64. In January 2012, Brown entered the Professional Darts Corporation's Q-School event in an attempt to earn a two-year tour card. He achieved this by finishing seventh on the Order of Merit after the four days of play, comfortably inside the top 24 who won their places. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). 2019 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2019 William Hill World Darts Championship was the 26th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at Alexandra Palace in London from 13 December 2018 to 1 January 2019. In the biggest overhaul since 2006, when 16 extra participants were added, the number of participants increased from 72 to 96. The top 32 from the PDC Order of Merit competed with the 32 highest ranked players on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit and 32 qualifiers from around the world, including two female darts players. The tournament length was consequently increased from six to seven rounds, while the preliminary round was dropped. Glen Durrant
Glen Durrant (born 24 November 1970), nicknamed "Duzza", is an English former professional darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He previously won the BDO World Darts Championship three times consecutively from 2017 to 2019. He is also a one-time World Trophy, two-time World Masters and three-time Finder Darts Masters champion. After switching to the PDC in 2019, Durrant secured his maiden PDC major title by winning the 2020 Premier League. Paul Jennings (darts Player)
Paul Jennings (born 22 September 1976) is an English former darts player who competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Career A native of Hartlepool in the north-east of the country, Jennings came to wider attention when he qualified for the 2012 BDO World Darts Championship. After defeating Garry Thompson 3-1 in the first round, Jennings defeated Steve Douglas 4-2 in their second round clash. He lost to fellow tournament debutant Wesley Harms in the quarter-finals, being defeated 5-3 in sets. Despite a difficult 2012 season, Jennings once again qualified for the BDO World Championship in 2013. His first round opponent was sixth seed Ross Montgomery.
